I am Neerja, the founder and creative director of Studio Neerja. 

Ever since I can remember, I have been passionate about design. My passion, along with my creative spirit and craftsmanship, has helped me pursue a truly rewarding career in accessories design and production - working with high-end, heritage to premium global brands such as Dunhill, Bill Amberg, Storksak and COS.

It has been a 20 year journey of learning and exploration across India, Italy, Australia and the UK, with each country and city adding an unique building block to my design philosophy and professional portfolio.

I find inspiration in art, architecture, graphics, textiles, handicrafts and so much more - and this helps me ideate and conceptualise products that are grounded in extensive research. I seek to work with environmentally friendly materials and innovative construction techniques such as minimal or no seam constructions on leather and heat sealing/ bonding on non-leather goods.

In my designs, you will find each detail thoughtfully applied so it serves a purpose and helps to achieve perfection in proportions, symmetry and geometry. A quest for simplicity and an eye for detail and functionality guides my approach. And the philosophy that each product evokes a feeling and ultimately tells a story.
